On January 22nd, The Middlesex County Crime officers offered a reward for information about the Saint Cecilia Church burglary. The incident occurred just three days before Christmas, with the church’s walls shattered, along with all of their donation money stolen. Exactly a month after the event, the police realized that they needed answers, and unfortunately, they were not getting anywhere with the slight information they had. This motivated authorities to put up a reward for citizens who would be able to contribute to the case.
Police have started asking residents who live in Kingston Lane or Georges Road to check their home surveillance cameras, from around 8:30 to 9:30pm on that day. Prior to the reward being put up, Police Chief Raymond Hayduka said, ‘“ The acts of this suspect are disgraceful. We will use all resources to track this down” (Winick, PATCH). There is still little information on this case, yet if you have any information, please contact 1-800-939-9600, or give an online tip here.
